Contratado pelos chineses em meados de 2018, Róger disputou 53 jogos durante esses três últimos anos e marcou 27 gols, além de ter dado dez assistências para os companheiros marcarem. Números expressivos, que juntos o fazem ter participado diretamente de 37 tentos da equipe.

Nesses 53 duelos em que o atacante esteve em campo, o Shandong Luneng marcou 102 gols, ou seja, 37 deles tiveram o “dedo” do brasileiro, o que representa 36,27% do total, mais de um terço. Em outras palavras, a cada três gols marcados nesses jogos, pelo menos um foi com contribuição de Guedes.

O jovem de 24 anos, porém, não atua desde 19 de dezembro de 2020, há exatamente sete meses, quando conquistou a taça da Copa da China, seu único título no país. Já seu último gol, por exemplo, aconteceu alguns dias antes, em 6 de dezembro, marcando três de uma vez na semifinal do torneio.

A temporada de 2020, aliás, foi a melhor de Róger na China. Foram 17 jogos e 12 gols, média de 0,71 por partida. Se somarmos o número de assistências (2) serão 14 participações em 17 duelos, média de 0,82 por jogo. Índices bastante altos e bem recentes, apesar do tempo sem entrar em campo de lá para cá.

Apesar de o nível técnico do futebol chinês ser reconhecidamente bem abaixo do brasileiro, a diretoria corintiana acredita que Guedes é o reforço ideal para o clube, que há tempos procura um homem de velocidade que possa atuar pelo lado do campo. Além disso, é o tipo de jogador que veste a camisa e chega para ser titular, sem precisar que a “aposta” dê certo como aconteceu recentemente.

Embora exista quem diga que já está tudo certo entre clube e estafe do jogador, a ala mais cautelosa sobre o tema prefere evitar cravar qualquer acerto, até porque a rescisão na China ainda não saiu e tende a ser dura. Mesmo assim, os corintianos seguem otimistas por um desfecho positivo.

The likes of Johan Bakayoko, Crysencio Summerville and Antonio Silva have already been linked on that front in three potential deals that would undoubtedly hand the Reds an impressive boost this summer. Bakayoko and Summerville would be particularly interesting arrivals, given how the likes of Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez struggled to find their form in Liverpool's attack at the end of the season.

Away from attacking options, however, FSG could also need to sign a replacement for Joel Matip, who left the club at the end of the campaign following the end of his contract. And that's where Leny Yoro could come in.

According to journalist Graeme Bailey, Liverpool are "working hard" to sign Yoro ahead of Real Madrid, but the defender seemingly has his heart set on a move to the La Liga giants. The Lille star, reportedly worth between £50m and £85m, could reportedly reject Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Manchester United in favour of Madrid this summer.

Still just 18 years old and a standout in Ligue 1 at times, the number of top clubs interested in Yoro comes as no shock. Liverpool will just hope to finally beat Real Madrid off the pitch.

Whilst Liverpool's immediate focus should be on replacing Matip, their long-term aim should be to find a player capable of filling the inevitable void left behind by club captain Virgil van Dijk. Yoro, at such a young age, can kill two birds with one stone.

The Lille gem wouldn't need to step into Van Dijk's shoes right away, instead likely acting as fourth choice behind Ibrahima Konate, the aforementioned Dutchman and Jarell Quansah. However, eventually, that role should be his if Jacek Kulig's praise is anything to go by. The football talent scout described the teenager as "complete" on X.

It won't be easy to convince Yoro to reject Madrid, especially given their current status, but a long summer may just see the Reds make a crucial move.

Nicolas Jackson impressed last season, scoring 14 Premier League goals, but Todd Boehly still wants to bolster the position for new boss Enzo Maresca.

Benjamin Sesko has been the main target recently, but it’s been reported that he has turned down potential moves to sign a new contract at RB Leipzig.

So, is there an alternative to Sesko? It looks like it.

Chelsea’s search for a new centre forward

As per reports coming out of Colombia, Chelsea are closing in on a deal to sign Aston Villa forward Jhon Duran.

The Villans striker looks set to move to Stamford Bridge this summer, according to the report, as the two clubs have reached an agreement.

It’s mentioned that a fee in the region of £42m has been submitted, which is an offer Unai Emery’s side will likely take.

All that remains is for Duran to sign the paperwork, with negotiations between Chelsea and the player already underway.

How Jhon Duran would fit in at Chelsea

Despite playing in the Premier League for Villa, Duran isn’t a name that many of the Chelsea faithful will have heard previously.

Duran is a Colombian attacker with plenty of promise, and over the 23/24 campaign, he featured 23 times in the Premier League.

However, only three of those were from the off, and he played an average of 22 minutes per game, serving as a rotation option for the unbelievable Ollie Watkins.

Nonetheless, the 20-year-old still managed to score five goals in the league, with a late, quick-fire brace against Liverpool being his standout moment at Villa Park so far.

That said, according to FBref, Duran is classified as a 'similar player' to Sesko, based on their statistics from last season.

Firstly, it’s clear that both young strikers are excellent finishers, who are not only in the right position to have attempts at goal, but they also overperform their xG, as can be seen below.

This means that if given half a chance in front of goal, they’ll likely take it, which can’t be said for Jackson, who underperformed his xG by 4.64 in the league last season.

Furthermore, they aren’t exactly the type of player that will always look to be involved in build-up play, often looking to operate on the shoulder of the defender, as shown by their touches, passes completed, and shot-creating actions.

On top of the data, both players are extremely athletic and physical, possessing great speed and strength, which certainly makes them difficult to deal with.

In order for Chelsea to get to the next level, a centre forward that can reliably produce goals will be vital, and you can just imagine how deadly they’d be with Cole Palmer creating for a clinical finisher like Duran, a player described as "phenomenal" by scout Jacek Kulig.

That said, spending £42m on an inexperienced striker is clearly a risky move, but his potential is immense, and therefore, signing someone so similar to Sesko could prove to be fantastic business.

قال إبراهيم نور الدين المدير الفني السابق للجنة الحكام، إنه كان يسعى لتطوير المنظومة وحل الأزمات، مشيرًا إلى أنه راض عن أداء اللجنة في فترة عمله بعيدًا عن الخلافات التي وقعت.

وأضاف نور الدين في تصريحات تلفزيونية بفضائية “أون تايم سبورتس”: “كنت أتمنى ألا تحدث تلك الخلافات ويسير الفكر في اتجاه واحد، ولولا تلك الخلافات لكنا أفضل بكثير”.

وتابع: “استطعنا أن نجمع رموز التحكيم وتعاملنا مع الحكام نفسيًا وكنا يد واحدة، وكانت فرصة للانطلاق ليكون المسؤول مصريا، ونجحنا في كأس مصر والسوبر بشكل رائع، كنت أتمنى الاستمرارية ولم أكن أتمنى أن يكون بيننا عدم قبول أو عدم رضا، أو أن يُنسب النجاح لشخص”.

وأوضح: “عندما كنت أدلي بتصريحات كنت أصرح باسم اللجنة، لكن كان يوجد خلاف نفسي نوعًا ما، ولم أكن أتعامل بنجوميتي، لو كان الأمر كذلك كنت جلست في المكتب ولكني تحركت للجميع وكنت أسافر محافظتين وثلاثة في اليوم الواحد، لا يوجد نجم يفعل ذلك”.

وتابع: “لست على خلاف شخصي مع جهاد جريشة، لكنه صرح قائلًا (التحكيم لازم يجي على المحارة)، فانتابتني غيرة على المنظومة، عندما أكون مسؤولًا عن ناس لا بد أن أحافظ على كرامتهم، ويجب أن أوقف كل من ينطق بكلام به شبهات، وإذا لم أفعل ذلك فلا أستحق المسؤولية”.

وواصل: “قلت إنني سأحوله للتحقيق بعد هذا التصريح، وكنت أعرف أنه سيعدل عن تصريحه لأن التعبير خانه ولا يصدر من حكم كبير، وتراجعت بعد ذلك”.

واستكمل: “جهاد جريشة محسوب على المنظومة أنه حكم كبير وأدار مباريات في كأس العالم، ووارد أن يعتبره حكام صغار قدوة، فكان لا بد أن نجعله يتوقف، لأنه عندما يُحلل الحالات الفنية لا أحد يتحدث معه لأن هذه وجهة نظره وهو حر، لكن التصريحات الأخرى لا، لا بد أن نراعي شعور بعضنا البعض”.

وعلق نور الدين على ما يتردد بشأن وجود أزمات مع الحكم الدولي محمد عادل: “لست في خصومة ولا على خلاف مع أحد، ولكني رفضت إدارته لمباراة لأنه لم يكن مُهيأ نفسيًا، فهو لم يحضر المعسكرات، وأتعامل بأن الجميع سواسية ولا توجد ميزة لأحد عن آخر إلا بأدائه، لا يصح أن يحضر 200 حكم معسكرات، وحكم يغيب معسكرين”.

وتابع: “لم أستدعيه في المعسكر الأول، لأنني كلجنة أستدعي الحكم في التوقيت الذي يناسبني، أنا الحكم رقم واحد في مصر حتى نهاية العام الجاري، ومع ذلك عندما كان يبلغني كابتن عصام أو الكابتن جمال أو عزب بموعد معسكر كنت ألتزم”.

واستأنف: “حللت حالات مباراة الزمالك والبنك الأهلي مع حكم اللقاء محمد عادل ورفضت أن يكون التحليل أمام الحكام بسبب اللغط، كنت سعيدا أنني فعلت ذلك، لأن لم يكن صحيحا أن نُحلل الحالات أمام الحكام”.

وأردف: “لماذا سيسألنا محمد عادل عن التسريب وهو يعلم أنه لا علاقة لنا، هو اتصل بمجموعة من الإعلاميين وقال إن الأزمة في اللجنة، ثم قال إن سبب الأزمات هو إبراهيم نور الدين، وأنا حتى الآن أنتظر رد فعل”.

وأكد: “أنا منزعج أكثر من محمد عادل من تسريب المحادثة لأن هذا حدث ونحن في الإدارة”.

وأتم: “أما عن تصريح ياسر عبد الرؤوف (لو كنت حاضرًا لما تم التسريب)، نحن كلجنة كنا أقوى من أي أحد، وما حدث كان سيحدث مع أي أحد، وإبراهيم نور الدين أقوى من أي أحد، ولو كان عبد الرؤوف مسؤولًا كان التسريب سينتشر”.

The middle-order of Australia’s T20I side is under the microscope, but Ashton Agar believes he is making “small steps” in learning the art of finishing an innings having been given a pivotal position.The make-up of Australia’s XI with Agar as one of five frontline bowlers sees him in the No. 7 spot and he has walked to the crease in two contrasting, but common, situations in the first two games against England, both of which have gone the way of the home side.In the opening game he came in during the 17th over with a run chase losing its way and the equation standing at 30 needed off 21 balls. Agar managed just 4 off 5 before he was run out in the penultimate over as Australia made a mess of things to lose by two runs.ALSO READ: Starc says lack of recent cricket costing AustraliaOn Sunday, Agar walked in at 89 for 5 in the 13th over with a first innings needing rebuilding if anything close to a competitive score was to be reached. Agar didn’t exactly blaze a trail but made 23 off 20 balls as the middle and lower order scrambled their way to 157. It made a game of things but Jos Buttler, the master of a finish wherever he bats, guided a very efficient chase.”It is a difficult role, coming in with minimal balls left and you could be in different situations. I’ve seen that vary a lot in the last two games,” Agar, who has also taken four wickets in the two matches, said. “Generally, you have a batsman at the other end and the key to getting your innings started is getting them on strike, finding your boundaries when you can.”I feel like I’m slowly learning to figure that role, trying to play some better cricket shots, limit the amount of balls I hit in the air at the start and hopefully take it as deep as I can to try and finish off an innings. Yesterday was maybe a small step forward in that direction.”Agar has only had a handful of opportunities at the crease since he returned to the T20 team in the last Australian summer. The prolific top order meant he did not get a bat in the series against Sri Lanka and Pakistan (neither did Alex Carey at No. 6) before making 20 off 12 balls in Johannesburg, a game he capped off with a hat-trick.His overall strike rate is a modest 110.08 – for anyone who has batted at least ten times at No. 7 in T20Is he is the fifth slowest – and he has only hit four sixes in 12 innings. In all his T20 cricket the majority of his innings have been at Nos. 6 and 7 but the strike-rate remains just over a run-a-ball.”It’s definitely a role that I’ve identified that if I can fit into well I can really help the team,” he said. “It’s a tough role and one I really need to improve on because it’s really important at that backend of an innings. To get an extra 10-15 runs out of that position in a minimal amount of balls, that can be the difference either setting or chasing.”We bat quite deep now as you saw with Patty Cummins last night hitting Jofra for a beautiful six, that’s a really good sign for us. Justin Langer asked all the bowlers to go away and work on their batting throughout the practice games.”While disappointed at the two defeats, particularly having let such a strong position slip in the first match, Agar said that after six months without cricket there remained a strong belief in the squad.”It really hurts to lose a series but we look around the changing room and we know we are a really good T20 team and if we win a couple of those small moments it shows we are super competitive against the best teams in the world. To match it with a team who has had a summer of cricket and been playing really well, coming off no cricket, we are very close.”

وفاز ليفربول على نظيره ليستر سيتي بنتيجة 3/1، ضمن منافسات الجولة الثامنة عشر من الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، على ملعب “أنفيلد”.

وبهذه النتيجة، ارتفع رصيد ليفربول إلى النقطة 42 في المركز الأول في ترتيب الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، بينما تجمد رصيد ليستر سيتي عند النقطة 14 في المركز الثامن عشر.

وقال آرني سلوت في تصريحات لـ”BBC SPORTS”: “أنا سعيد للغاية بشكل عام، لقد لعبنا بالطريقة التي أردناها طوال المباراة، الشيء الوحيد الذي لم نكن نريده هو الخسارة بهدف دون رد بعد مرور 10 دقائق”.

وأضاف سلوت: “في أول مرة هددوا فيها مرمى فريقنا، سجلوا هدفًا على الفور، دفاع غير كفء، ولهذا السبب كانت المباراة صعبة حتى سجلنا الهدف الثالث”.

وعن أهمية إدراك التعادل قبل الاستراحة: “بالتأكيد كان ذلك مهمًا، خلال أول 45 دقيقة كنا بالقرب من منطقة جزاء المنافس عدة مرات وخلقنا فرصًا كافية لتسجيل هدف، ولكن إذا لم تفعل ذلك، فلن تعرف النتيجة النهائية، لقد ساعدنا ذلك على الفور”.

وتابع: “كان الهدفان الأول والثالث متشابهين للغاية، ويتمتع هؤلاء اللاعبون بالقدرة على السيطرة على مثل هذه المواقف، كما أنهم يتألقون في إنهاء الهجمات، كما أعجبني الهدف الثاني، حيث جاء الهدف جماعيًا، ونجح كورتيس جونز في الوصول إلى منطقة الجزاء، وهو ما أعتقد أنه يتعين عليه القيام به كثيرًا، بصفتك لاعب وسط في ليفربول، يتعين عليك تسجيل الأهداف، وهذا ما فعله اليوم”.

وعن تصدر جدول الدوري: “بالطبع ننظر إلى جدول الدوري ولكننا نعلم أيضًا مدى صعوبة هذا الدوري، قبل شهرين كنا متأخرين بنقطة واحدة عن مانشستر سيتي، ماذا يمكن أن يفعل هذا الدوري إذا تعرضت للإصابات والإيقافات، يمكن أن يحدث هذا لأي فريق، يتعين علينا أن نبقى في قمة أدائنا”.

وأوضح سلوت: “لا أشعر وكأننا في عيد الميلاد على الإطلاق، عادة ما نذهب في إجازة، ولكنني أعتقد أن العديد من الناس في هولندا سيشاهدون المباراة ويستمتعون بها كما فعلت من قبل”.

عن كونه المرشح الأوفر حظًا للفوز باللقب: “إنها إجابة مملة بعض الشيء، وباعتباري مديرًا فنيًا، فإنني أتعامل مع كل مباراة على حدة، وأعلم عدد المباريات التي يتعين علي خوضها، الكثير من الفرق لديها الكثير من الجودة، لو حدث هذا في الدوري الهولندي، سأقول نعم هذا صحيح”.

وعن تمديد عقود ترينت ألكسندر أرنولد ومحمد صلاح وفيرجيل فان ديك: “نحن لا نتحدث عن العقود علنًا، ليس من حقي أن أتحدث عن هذه المواقف علنًا، محمد صلاح قدم مباراة جيدة، وفيرجيل قدم مباراة جيدة، وترينت كان جيدًا للغاية خاصة في الشوط الثاني”.
