Ainda em recuperação de uma lesão no joelho, o zagueiro Dedé está próximo de confirmar sua permanência no Cruzeiro. Com vínculo até abril do ano que vem, o jogador já pode assinar um pré-contrato com outra equipe, mas isso não deverá acontecer. Nesta sexta-feira, representantes do defensor estiveram em Belo Horizonte para fechar os últimos detalhes de uma renovação com a equipe.

No Cruzeiro desde 2013, Dedé participou das duas campanhas que renderam o bicampeonato brasileiro ao Cruzeiro, mas enfrenta um calvário desde o final de 2014. Durante aquela temporada, foi submetido a três cirurgias no joelho. No início do ano passado, operou o ligamento cruzado posterior, mas precisou novamente passar por procedimento cirúrgico meses depois para retirar um dos parafusos do local. Neste ano, sofreu uma fratura na patela do joelho direito e, em agosto, precisou ser novamente operado.

It seems as if Wigan Athletic midfielder Sean McGurk may well join Leeds United this summer.

The Whites had a bid turned down for the 18-year-old during the January window, with Marcelo Bielsa looking to bolster the club’s Under-23 ranks.

However, McGurk’s contract with the Latics expires in the summer – meaning he could move to Elland Road over the coming months with a fee decided by a tribunal.

Reliable reporter Alan Nixon, who writes for The Sun, appeared to give a positive update regarding Leeds and McGurk on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon.

He was asked if he thinks McGurk will still come to Leeds this summer, to which he replied:

“Not heard different.”

Should a deal for McGurk go through in the upcoming window, he could link up with former Wigan teammate Joe Gelhardt.

Gelhardt, on £16,500-a-week, has a close relationship with McGurk from the forward’s time at Wigan.

McGurk was described as ‘brilliant’ by Wigan youth coach Peter Murphy last year, with the latter heaping praise on the teenager for being ‘so effective’.

The attacking midfielder is yet to make his senior bow for Wigan, so should a deal materialise, he could well turn out for the Whites’ Under-23’s first, and perhaps him and Gelhardt could push through for a first-team berth together over the next couple of seasons.

واختتم: “دخل أبو جبل فترة الأشهر الستة من عقده مع الزمالك، لكن لم يتم التوصل إلى اتفاق بسبب انتخابات الرئاسة، وسيتم الجلوس مع إدارة النادي الأسبوع القادم لبحث تمديد التعاقد بين الطرفين”.

Steven Gerrard has been boosted by the reported news at Rangers that Britt Assombalonga will take a wage cut in order to join the Ibrox outfit this summer.

According to teamTALK, the 28-year-old is close to agreeing terms with Rangers, having been linked with a move from Middlesbrough in recent weeks, despite interest from Championship, German and Belgian clubs.

They suggest that the former Nottingham Forest man will take a significant wage drop in order to join Gerrard’s side this summer, which will undoubtedly put him in the good books of the 40-year-old manager and sporting director Ross Wilson, considering he reportedly earns £35k per week with the Championship side.

Whilst Assombalonga hasn’t lived up to his £15m price tag with the North East club, he has enjoyed prolific spells with Nottingham Forest and Peterborough United in the past, so Rangers will be hoping that he can rediscover his goalscoring touch at Ibrox.

In total, the powerful striker has managed 131 goals in his senior career, which suggests that, with a bit more confidence, he can definitely find the net on a regular basis in Gerrard’s side next season.

Certainly, the fact that he is willing to take a pay cut in order to join the Premiership champions bodes well for his future with the club and fans will be hoping that he works hard to prove himself and compete with the likes of Alfredo Morelos, Kemar Roofe and Cedric Itten in Gerrard’s attack.

Whilst you wouldn’t expect Assombalonga to displace the Colombian as Rangers’ star man up front, the fact that he is likely to join on a free transfer due to his contract at Middlesbrough expiring means that this is a very low-risk transfer for the Light Blues and it gives them some added squad depth ahead of next season.

Considering that both Jermaine Defoe and Greg Stewart are set to leave this summer when their own contracts expire, depth up front is certainly something that Gerrard will have been looking to add, and it looks as if Rangers have managed to get their first piece of summer business done very early.

Depois de conviver nos últimos jogos como mandante com a baixa procura por ingressos, o Santos anunciou que os ingressos para o clássico deste sábado, contra o Palmeiras, às 19h30, na Vila Belmiro, estão esgotados.

Foram colocados à venda para os torcedores 11.500 ingressos, que se esgotaram na tarde desta quinta-feira. Até quarta, o clube havia comercializado 8.570 entradas para o clássico decisivo, que pode recolocar o Peixe na briga pelo título nacional.

Apesar da capacidade máxima de 16 mil lugares, os 4.500 restantes são destinados a donos de cadeira cativa, camarotes e cadeiras especiais. Estes têm o direito de ir ao estádio sem a necessidade de aviso prévio à diretoria.

O Peixe, para este jogo, limitou a compra para os acompanhantes de sócios devido à grande demanda. As vendas foram comercializadas principalmente nas bilheterias da própria Vila, na subsede do clube, em São Paulo, e nas lojas Santos Store.

لمح جناح الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي باري سان جيرمان، نيمار دا سيلفا، لوجهته المقبلة بعد الرحيل عن ملعب “حديقة الأمراء” عقب نهاية عقده في يونيو 2025.

ويلعب نيمار مع باريس سان جيرمان منذ صيف عام 2017 عندما انتقل من برشلونة بمقابل الشرط الجزائي وقيمته 222 مليون يورو.

وتحدث نيمار عن مستقبله بعد باريس سان جيرمان في تصريحات لإذاعة “Phenomena” البرازيلية، وقال: “أريد حقًا أن ألعب لنادي سانتوس مرة أخرى، ما أفتقده هو اللعب في مدينتي، يا إلهي، ذلك الملعب الرائع”.

وأضاف: “أريد كذلك اللعب في الدوري الأمريكي، على الأقل لمدة موسم واحد، لأنها بطولة قصيرة ولديك ثلاثة أو أربعة أشهر من الإجازة”.

O diretor de futebol do Corinthians, Flávio Adauto, acabou nesta quinta-feira com a esperança dos torcedores que sonhavam com a volta de Carlos Tevez ao clube em 2017. Em entrevista coletiva, o cartola descartou o retorno do ídolo alvinegro. De forma sucinta, ele afirmou:

– Futebol é feito de oportunidade. Em relação ao Tevez, eu não vejo essa oportunidade. Tenho muito pouco a dizer. Não vejo essa oportunidade.

Adauto foi o responsável por dispensar Tevez e o compatriota Mascherano do Timão em 2006, como ele mesmo contou recentemente ao LANCE!. Na entrevista, ele já havia declarado que não acreditava no retorno do argentino.

Campeão brasileiro pelo Corinthians em 2005, Tevez está com 32 anos e vive situação difícil no Boca Juniors (ARG). Eliminada da Copa da Argentina, a equipe xeneize está fora da próxima edição da Copa Libertadores.

Speaking exclusively to Football FanCast, former Sheffield United striker Brian Deane believes his old side were asking too much of Rhian Brewster.

Chris Wilder looked to build on a great 2019/20 Premier League season by signing Brewster in a club-record deal from Liverpool, expecting the young English forward to fire his team to more success.

However, Brewster has really struggled, failing to find the back of the net in English football’s top flight since his arrival at Bramall Lane during the last summer transfer window.

Given that Brewster is still just 21 years of age with little experience at this level, though, Deane feels there was too much expectation placed on his shoulders.

Discussing the England U21 international in an exclusive interview with FFC, Deane said:

“£20m for Rhian Brewster in the Premier League is a hell of a lot of money. It’s a lot of money and then what are you asking a 20-year-old kid to do in the Premier League against very well-established, highly-motivated athletes, defenders?

“You know, what is going to make this kid who has done very well in the Championship… how are you going to guarantee that he makes that leap into the Premier League?”

In that 2019/20 season in the Championship, Brewster scored 11 times in 22 appearances and helped Swansea City to reach the play-offs. Taking that into account, the former Liverpool man could be a really good option for Sheffield United next term.

Sem desfalques por suspensão ou lesão, Marcão deve manter a defesa com Wellington Silva, Gum, Henrique e William Matheus. Já no meio-campo, Pierre retorna de suspensão e briga com Edson, Douglas e Marquinho por duas vagas, já que Cícero e Gustavo Scarpa não devem sair da equipe. No ataque, a tendência é de que Wellington e Richarlison também sejam mantidos no time principal.
