O Santos lançará o terceiro novo uniforme no dia 22 de setembro, em um evento na Avenida Pacaembu, em São Paulo. A estreia ocorrerá no dia 23, na partida contra o Atlético-PR, às 21h, na Vila Belmiro, pelo Brasileirão. Vale lembrar que em julho as camisas camufladas em cinza e preto vazaram em uma reunião do Conselho Deliberativo.

A pré-venda teve início nesta terça-feira pela lojas virtuais, por R$249,90. Entre os dias 13 e 21 desse mês, nas lojas físicas do Peixe, os 100 primeiros compradores terão acesso ao evento oficial de lançamento. No local, irão receberão a camisa, além de um par de ingressos para o jogo entre Santos e Atlético Paranaense.

The Lowdown: Ndombele future in question…

Since the club-record signing put pen to paper on a £53.8m move from Lyon in the summer of 2019, his stay at Spurs has been fairly mixed, to say the least.

During Ndombele’s first season in north London, chairman Daniel Levy famously had a sit-down with the 24-year-old to discuss his performances and overall future, as seen on their ‘All Or Nothing’ Amazon Prime documentary.

The following year, he enjoyed a brief resurgence under former boss Jose Mourinho and even earned the ‘unplayable’ tag from his Spurs teammates, according to West Ham midfielder Declan Rice.

However, he then became heavily linked with a move away at the end of 2020/21, apparently informing Spurs chiefs of his desire to leave before August 31 (The Telegraph). His move failed to come to fruition, though, with Antonio Conte now left with the task of getting the best out of Ndombele.

The Latest: Gold drops exciting Spurs claim…

Taking to Twitter in sharing his piece from football.london, Gold has now shared some exciting news as Conte and his staff seek to revitalise the France international’s career at N17.

The club’s sports science staff apparently believe that Ndombele has been in the ‘the best condition of his Spurs career’ in ‘recent weeks’ – surely a big sign of encouragement for Tottenham’s new manager.

“Understand the sports science staff believe the Frenchman has been in the best condition of his Spurs career in recent weeks,” Gold explained on social media.

“Which will help during this boot camp of sorts at Hotspur Way.”

The Verdict: Very encouraging…

Given the consistent question marks surrounding Ndombele’s application and fitness since his arrival at Spurs, this update will undoubtedly come as a boost for Conte.

The midfield maestro has unquestioned ability in his locker but the difficulty has always been unlocking it on a consistent enough basis. He finished the 2020/21 as one of Tottenham’s most threatening players statistically, having completed the most dribbles per 90 (2.2) out of their entire squad (WhoScored).

Lauded as ‘magnificent’ by Mourinho, the former Ligue 1 sensation has what it takes to become a key player for Spurs regularly, and having him in peak condition is arguably crucial to him finally coming good on that club-record outlay from 2019.

وكتب أوباميانج رسالته الأولى عما حدث قبل أيام عبر حسابه الرسمي على “إنستجرام”، وقال: “مرحبًا شباب، شكرًا جزيلًا على كل الرسائل التي وصلتني”.

وتابع: “ليلة الأحد، اقتحم بعض الجبناء المسلحين منزلنا وهددوا عائلتي وأولادي فقط لسرقة بعض الأشياء، لقد أصابوا فكي لكنني سوف أتعافى في أقرب وقت ممكن”.

Former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram, former Indian batsman Pravin Amre and ex-India coach John Wright will make their presentations for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) coach’s post in Mumbai on August 30.Sourav Ganguly, who is tipped to regain the captaincy next season, indicated that his presence at the meeting had not been finalised yet. “Akram is part of the final few coaches who have been called on August 30,” Ganguly told PTI. “He, Wright and Amre have been called. Obviously, I know the names of the coaches in contention but I don’t have the authority to reveal them. It’s Shah Rukh Khan [the principal owner] and Jay Mehta [co-owner] who will take the decision, but I have a say in that. “The coach’s post was left vacant after KKR sacked John Buchanan, the coach for the first two seasons, following a bottom-placed finish among the eight teams in the second season held in South Africa.Akram’s candidature, however, is not expected to carry much weight because, as one franchise official said, the former Pakistani legend would essentially be a bowling coach. It is learnt that Akram himself is less keen on a full-time coach’s job and would like to work as a consultant.Ganguly said Shah Rukh did have a word with Akram on the matter. “Yeah, I have good relations with Wasim Akram,” said Ganguly. “He was a great bowler. The Lowdown: Bitton under Ange

The 30-year-old has had to remain patient under Ange Postecoglou, starting just nine games in all competitions in both defence and in a holding midfield role.

The Israel international has filled in over recent weeks following an injury to Tom Rogic, starting in the Hoops’ last two Premiership fixtures and two Europa League games. However, he had to be withdrawn against Bayer Leverkusen on Thursday evening, and it seems as if he may miss today’s match against Aberdeen as a result.

The Latest: Assessed before Aberdeen

The Daily Record shared a story on Saturday morning, with Postecoglou commenting on the severity of Bitton’s injury.

The Hoops boss admitted that the 30-year-old will need to be assessed, labelling him as ‘influential’ and saying:

“I was a bit disappointed to see Nir come off and in terms of how he is going to be I’m not really sure.

“We will assess him, but he has been pretty influential for us and did well for the second goal in Germany to help set it up.”

The Verdict: A blow if he’s ruled out

Bitton was actually Celtic’s best-rated player against Bayer Leverkusen during the week, winning 100% of his duels and making multiple defensive contributions. [SofaScore]

The Hoops were in the lead when he had to make way in Germany and ended up conceding twice late on, with the Israeli no longer around to screen the back four.

On that basis, not having him available against Aberdeen could be a big blow. James McCarthy may need to fill in for Bitton, with Postecoglou hopeful that the Irishman is getting there after a slow start to life in green and white.
