Shane Watson and Michael Hussey both scored half-centuries to set up a comfortable eight-wicket victory for Australia in the first Twenty20 in St Lucia. Kieron Pollard’s 20-ball fifty, the fastest by a West Indian player in a Twenty20 international, proved to be in vain as the target of 151 was easily overhauled by the Australians with 11 balls to spare.West Indies were left to rue their slow start, and in particular their struggle to rotate the strike in the first half of their innings after Darren Sammy won the toss and chose to bat. It was not until Pollard arrived at the crease that their run-rate started to lift but he ran out of time, finishing unbeaten on 54 from 26 deliveries, and Australia’s innings was more complete than that of their opponents.Australia lost David Warner in the first over of the chase when he tried to flick Krishmar Santokie through the leg side and was bowled by an excellent ball that angled in and then straightened, but that was the only early success for West Indies. Watson and Hussey put together a 108-run partnership that set up Australia’s win, and at no stage did they let the scoring rate dip.Watson struck six sixes in his 69 and was especially strong from midwicket to long-on. Bruno Alves e Rojas, suspensos, estão fora.

O grupo terá a terça-feira de folga e se reapresenta na quarta. A expectativa é de que Bruno Peres, que se recupera de estiramento no adutor direito, trabalhe no campo e dê um passo importante para jogar sábado. Régis volta de suspensão e estará disponível novamente.

After 34 overs across three bitterly cold and wet days, it was laid to rest shortly after lunch and will no doubt receive a burial at sea. Sean Ervine led a dramatic Hampshire chase as they beat Glamorgan with a ball to spare in Cardiff. His 75 got his side close to the winning line before Hamza Riazuddin struck the winning runs to give Hampshire a dramatic victory in a rain-affected match.Riazuddin held his nerve as the match came down to the visitors needing two runs from the final two balls. But much of the credit for the Hampshire win had to go to Ervine, who navigated his side into a winning position with a 92-ball innings before perishing 13 balls from the end.Hampshire won by two wickets to take 19 points from the match to Glamorgan’s three. It was Glamorgan’s third straight defeat to leave them firmly rooted to the bottom of the Division Two table.Play did not resume on the fourth day until 4.15pm because of persistent showers throughout the morning and afternoon sessions. But eventually the rain relented enough to allow for 28 overs to be bowled with Hampshire resuming on 112 for 4 in pursuit of 204.With the ninth ball after the resumption Huw Waters had Michael Bates leg before to leave Hampshire 112 for 5. But just as new batsman Michael Carberry, batting with a runner for a groin injury, arrived on the outfield he had to come off as more rain arrived at the ground.After another loss of 10 overs play resumed again at 5pm with Hampshire needing 92 from 16.3 overs. Despite being injured Carberry cut Jim Allenby for two fours before he was bowled behind his legs by Waters.But Hampshire still had hope of knocking off the runs while Ervine, who reached his half-century from 67 balls with seven fours, was still there along with Chris Wood, who was not shy of a few lusty blows. Wood’s third four ensured Hampshire needed 40 from the remaining eight overs.He was then brilliantly caught by Will Bragg low down on the long-leg boundary off Wagg to leave Hampshire still needing 31 from 5.2 overs. But the pressure was taken off the visitors’ chase when Ervine struck Moises Henriques for three successive fours which included a fortuitous Chinese cut. It left Hampshire needing 16 off the final four overs.There was more drama as wicketkeeper Mark Wallace took a steepling catch to remove dangerman Ervine. But Riazuddin and Danny Briggs held their nerve to knock off the remaining 14 runs from 13 balls.

نتائج الفرق الإنجليزية علامة استفهام رغم تأهل تشيلسي إلى دور الثمانية، حيث يمر ليفربول بموقف صعب أمام ريال مدريد بعد الهزيمة بنتيجة 5-2 في أنفيلد وخرج توتنهام على يد ميلان في الأسبوع الماضي.

وتحدث الإسباني عن وجهة نظره في مؤتمره الصحفي منذ قليل، وقال: “لست في موضع دفاع عن الأندية الإنجليزية، لكن لطالما الجميع قد وصف هذا الدوري بالأفضل وكان هناك 3 أو 4 فرق تصل إلى ربع النهائي في السنوات الماضية”.

وعن لايبزيج: “فريق جيد جدًا، كنا نعلم ذلك منذ القرعة، كل الأندية في تلك المرحلة أقوياء مثل نابولي أو ميلان أو ريال مدريد، يجب أن نركز للفوز بالمباراة مهما كان المنافس ونحتاج إلى الحسم في المراحل الإقصائية، هذا ما نفعله منذ بداية مشوارنا كجهاز فني حتى أصبحنا مرشحين للتتويج بأي بطولة ويضعونا ضمن المفضلين لأي لقب”.

وتابع: “ما يهمني أن نظل ننافس على كل البطولات الحالية حتى نهاية الموسم سواء في الدوري الإنجليزي أو دوري أبطال أوروبا، أريد أن أكون بالقرب من آرسنال”.

وأهمية هالاند: “إيرلينج لاعب رائع، تطور كثيرًا، لكن أفضل أن يكون هناك أكثر من لاعب يجيد تسجيل الأهداف داخل منطقة الجزاء، هذا ما فعلته في برشلونة وبايرن ميونخ وإلا لم نكن لننافس على البطولات ونفوز بها، يجب أن يكون لدينا لاعبين قادرين على اتخاذ القرارات الصعبة لحسم المباريات المعقدة”.

ودي بروين: “يعاني مثل الجميع، بما فيهم أنا، بعد كأس العالم هناك الكثير من الأشياء المتغيرة، لكني أتمنى أن يعود إلى سابق عهده، يجب أن يحاول في كل مباراة يشارك بها مثلما هو الحال مع هالاند حتى يعود للطريق الصحيح”.

وعن قياس البعض لنجاح جوارديولا بالفوز بدوري أبطال أوروبا مع مانشستر سيتي مثلما كان الحال حتى فاز ميسي ببطولة كأس العالم مع الأرجنتين، قال: “نعم هذا رأي الناس، لكن هذا لا يعني أنني أوافق عليه ورغم ذلك سيقيمون تجربتي مع مانشستر سيتي بتلك البطولة، من اليوم الأول لي هنا وهم يسألونني عن تلك البطولة وإمكانية الفوز بها”.

وواصل تصريحاته: “إذا كنت مدربًا لنادي ريال مدريد أتفهم هذا السؤال، لكن هنا الأمر مختلف ولن نغير ما يحدث أو نمر به خلال مشوارنا”.

روى علي سمير المدير الفني لفريق غزل المحلة مواليد 2007 تفاصيل الاشتباكات التي حدثت بين فريقه ولاعبي الزمالك، في المباراة التي جمعت بينهما في دوري الجمهورية.

وقال علي سمير في تصريحات لفضائية “صدى البلد”، “مداخلة الماتش: “الشوط الأول انتهى بالتعادل السلبي، سجلنا هدفا وبعدها بـ 5 دقائق تعادل الزمالك، ثم سجلوا الثاني من ركلة جزاء”.

وتابع: “لاعب الزمالك محمد عبد المقصود، قفز من غير أي سبب في وجه أحمد صلاح لاعب نادي غزل المحلة، وحدثت مشاحنات من جانب أسر اللاعبين والجهاز الفني، وحدثت أزمة كبيرة، فكيف تكون المباراة أمام الزمالك والحكم من منطقة القاهرة؟ كان يجب تعيين حكم من منطقة محايدة”.

وأكد: “كان هناك سب وقذف من جانب الجهاز الفني للزمالك ضد لاعبي المحلة والفريق طوال اللقاء، انتظرنا سيارة الاسعاف وقتا طويلا ولم تكن موجودة، إذا كنا نلعب في مركز شباب ماذا كان سيحدث؟”.

وأوضح: “لاعبنا أصيب بارتجاج في المخ وتهتك في اللثة العلوية و10 غرز من داخل وخارج الشفة وتورم بالفك، لم يكن يتذكر أي شيء، قمنا بعمل تقرير طبي ومحضر في قسم العجوزة، وحاليا بدأت حالته في الاستقرار”.

وأكمل: “فريق الزمالك كان يضرب اللاعبين ونحن نحاول تفادي ذلك ومن تعرض للضرب لم يكن يشارك بالمباراة وكان احتياطيا”.

واستكمل: “حازم إمام نائب رئيس قطاع الناشئين بالزمالك قال سيتم إيقاف اللاعب ومحاسبته واعتذر لنا لكن أين حقنا؟، هذه المباراة على مستوى الناشئين، أين سيارة الاسعاف؟، وكيف يبدأ الحكم المباراة بدونها؟”.

ومن جانبه قال عصام مرعي مدير قطاع الناشئين بنادي الزمالك في تصريحات لفضائية “صدى البلد”: “مدرب غزل المحلة كان مشدودًا جدًا لأنه مسؤول عن اللاعبين داخل أرضية الملعب”.

وأشار: “قررنا إيقاف مدرب حراس مرمى الزمالك لأجل غير مسمى، والبداية كانت عند لاعب المحلة الذي ركل لاعب الزمالك بقدمه ومن ثم حدثت اشتباكات بين اللاعبين. لم يكن هناك شتائم، ولو تم إثبات في التحقيق تجاوزات أكبر من ذلك سيكون هناك قرارات أكبر على المخطئين”.

واختتم: “أحترم إدارة غزل المحلة والجهاز الفني وأهم حاجة سلامة اللاعبين اياً كانت نتيجة المباراة والنتيجة”.
